Hello !
Posting up an illustration I was asked to do awhile ago, the idea’s taken from my previous drawing of a man riding an old school bicycle drinking tea – this time it’s a classy wombat riding an old school bicycle with a coffee as its hat :D
It’s funny because it’s my first time drawing a wombat, I had to research exactly what a wombat looked like – they kind of look like part bear and koala ? It’s hard to pinpoint it.

I thought I’d colour in today’s sketches, picked a new brush to shade with – I like its texture !
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted – I’m trying to finish up painting this sketch and a sculpture I’m doing the past month! A long time since I’ve worked with Sculpey, but I forgot how fun it was :D
The boots and clunky jackets are all coming back out now ~

Day 8 of the challenge !
Creating characters out of simple shapes lets you draw things that you usually don’t think of drawing, it really helps to pull you away from only drawing things that you’re comfortable drawing.
I should get into a habit of trying to do this more frequently ! :D
Animation Portfolio Workshop has a 14 day design challenge going on, where you try to create characters based on the basic shape uploaded each day !
Here’s two that I’ve done so far :

It was an idea my boyfriend thought of a while back, using Blanka to power something through his nose.. :D

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted !
I’ve been trying to learn me some Actionscript 3 to try to implement onto a new look for my portfolio site – it’s confusing ! But it’s coming along !
I was listening to a song by a group called Dynamic Duo, thus doodled something like a dynamic duo.. hahaha! It’s very rough, but I thought I’d bring it onto here, reminding me that I have this piece to complete…I tend to forget about some of the sketches that I start but the psd files mixes in with my complete drawings, they slip my mind ~

Kind of a succubus ? Or a lady with horns, I’m not sure. Those twisty horns are hard to angle right !
Either way, she’s supposed to be mid-pouncing something ! She looks athletic, dangerous.
Also reminds me of Mystique…
